  We moved away from family in 2012 and it tore a little piece of my heart. Egg, Potato, or Coffee Bean?

The Analogy Which one are you? Let yourself feel. THE ANALOGY This is an analogy I came across this week.  Take potatoes, eggs, and crushed coffee beans and place in three separate pots of boiling water.  The potato starts out firm, the egg starts out with a fragile shell and soft inside, and the coffee bean is crushed.  Place all three in boiling water; symbolizing adversity in this picture we are painting.  The potato was firm outside of pain, but is now soft, weak, falling apart.  The egg that was fragile and soft on the inside is now hardened.  The…
